LegalQuants

The network's collective wisdom

LQBrain

Pick the brain of the network.

LegalQuants is the world's highest concentration of lawyers and ex-lawyers who have actually built their own tech to practise law — coded systems from scratch, hacked open-source models, shipped legal SaaS that sold. LQBrain is how you access what they know.

A member asks a question. The brain reads relevant notes from the graph — tools/Cursor, tools/Claude Code, debates/Claude Code vs Cursor — and the Graph View on the right lights up the traversal in real time.

Yes, it looks like just another chatbot. Boring. That's only the interface. The real deal is underneath — a knowledge graph of wisdom built by LegalQuants members, lighting up note-by-note as the agent reads its way to an answer.

What's in here

The kind of insight that makes you the smartest person in the room.

Sharp and perceptive — the kind of insight that only comes from those who have practised law AND built tech with their own hands. Frontline practical experience, not textbook theory.

A few examples of what the network has worked through:

  • The future of law and the nuances between regions
  • The defensibility of vendor moats and what it takes to survive as a legal SaaS
  • The right architecture for the ‘AI-native law firm’ — and the common traps people fall into
  • The truth and traps of the ‘forward deployment engineer’ role — and when it actually makes sense
  • The pathway from hobby project to commercialisation, and dealing with the “intrapreneur dilemma”
  • The art of Claudemaxxing and anti-hallucination techniques
  • The skills to stay relevant in the next 5–10 years — and the actual “AI skills” worth investing time in
  • …and many more.

The structure

A working map of what the network is thinking about.

The index page. The concept map at the centre is the network's working theory of legal AI in 2026 — Local AI, Vendors, Documents, Identity, Firms, Security, Verification, Orchestration. Every node is a real note with real backlinks.

Access

Three steps.

  1. 01

    Subscribe to LQDigest

Paid Substack tier. The Sunday digest email is what gates LQBrain access.

  2. 02

    Get this week's access code

Every Sunday's digest includes a rotating access code that's good for the week. No accounts, no passwords — just paste-in.

  3. 03

    Open lqbrain.vercel.app

Paste the code, you're in. Search across the graph, follow backlinks, browse Maps of Content.

Why rotating codes? Sharing a code outside the subscriber list is grounds for permanent removal from the LegalQuants community. The rotation makes leaks self-correcting — the leaked code expires Sunday.

Have a go

Instead of DMing every member to “pick their brain”…

…come pick the LQBrain.

Access is for paid LQDigest subscribers and admitted LegalQuants members. The Digest is the weekly highlights reel; LQBrain is the full graph behind it.
