In my decade+ as a General Counsel, I've often felt that most contract repositories are not user friendly. I prefer a real file structure and a desktop environment. That's part of the reason I love to use Dropbox--it has best-in-class desktop sync that enables a low friction environment to manage files locally, sync them with collaborators, and edit documents using desktop software. One downside is that Dropbox doesn't have a contracts intelligence layer. So for this Hackathon project--I set out to built one. 💡Introducing: Contract Cortex, an AI contract intelligence platform to automatically classify contracts, extract key clauses and other metadata, and enable powerful semantic search across your entire document repository.
